Nonna Bezza’s Launch

Sunday saw quickly-up-and-coming legend of the South west food scene, Nonna Bezza (Jade Berry) of Naughty Nonna’s open her doors to her first public kitchen. Since running successfully sold-out ticketed feast nights for a few years now down here in Cornwall, Jade’s finally went all in and firmly planted her feet at a permanent location over at Lanteague studios, just outside of Newquay.

For the occasion, Nonna Bezza hosted an open afternoon, whereas from 4pm you could rock up, no ticket needed, and fill your boots to your hearts content. If you’ve never heard of Naughty Nonna’s before, where have you been? Consider an all-out indulgent Italian feast. No-one leaves Nonna hungry. We’re talking arancini balls, lasagna you’d expect an Italian grandmother to knock out, more pastas, ragu, pistachio desserts, and you can’t forget the tiramisu.

Nik popped over to grab a few shots of the evening and a little something to eat. Good thing he did too, as she sold out before the day was done. Nice one, Jade!
