Sunshine, seafood, and Whispering Angel on pour – not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

We headed to St Mawes last weekend for the launch of Rosé on the Rocks at The Idle Rocks, a brand new weekend event that pairs an ice-cold glass of rosé with a standout seafood menu created by Head Chef Carla Jones. Safe to say, the sun showed up, the plates were next-level, and the mood was high.

This one’s made for lazy lunches, golden hour tipples, and soaking up the best of the Cornish coast. If you needed an excuse to visit St Mawes, this is it.

At Meor, we’re proud to look after the socials for both Idle Rocks and St Mawes Hotel, two very special spots doing brilliant things. We’d highly recommend making a weekend of it. Ferry over if you can – it’s magic.
